1punto0 - History

In 1997, Hugo Caro (drums), with Luis Aloy (guitars), Alejo Rojo (keyboards) and Gabriel Zutovsky (bass) joined in a blues-rock band called "Falta el Lobo" (Wolf is Missing). Months later, Daniel Delio joined the band playing bass, and Gabriel played backing guitars since then. Gabriel leaved the band after a while for working reasons. The 4 members band then worked on several covers songs on this genres, including some songs from "The Alan Parsons Project". On december 1997 the group made its first (and last) show.

After Alejo leaved the group, and thanks to the Spanish Alan Parsons Fan mailing list "PaseoDeGracia", Jorge Marchini joined to it as keyboardist. Then, the 4 members band decided to play mainly covers of Alan Parsons y Led Zeppelin songs, taking the new name "Zeppelin Project".

For several reasons, Luis y Daniel decided to leave the band, and then is when, in September 1998, Jorge and Hugo decided to make a new band. In the same way, through the mailing list Big Bear (progressive rock music store), Gustavo Mari (guitar) and Ricardo Mari (bass) joined the group, both fans and savvy musicians of "The Alan Parsons Project" material.

At that stage, the band decided to work exclusively with covers versions of Parsons' band songs -the 4 members are big fans of his music-.

After a while, due to the requirements of this kind of music, the band started a search for a vocalist, and in November 1998 Jorge Feraudo (vocals and keyboards) and Juan Pablo Cieri (vocals and backing guitars) joined the group, and finaly, in march 2000 Cristián del Gesso (vocals) and then the current 7 membership was completed.

The band took the name "1punto0" (1point0).

Between December 1998 and May 1999, 1punto0 recorded its first Demo CD with songs selected from the playlist.
